Instant NanoBiosensors' FOPPR Enhancement Assay was used in the rapid (<15 min) and ultrasensitive (fM) detection of procalicitonin (PCT), an important biomarker for sepsis. In addition to the short detection time and ultrasensitivity, the FOPPR Enhancement Assay also offers a wide linear response range (5 orders) and good correlation in determining plasma PCT with the clinically validated immunoassay, demonstrating its potential to be used as a point-of-care testing tool.
